That a little over the top i know but consider what a mother told reporters after her 15-year-old daughter was hit by a car while playing pittsburgh parents don't let your kids play this game because you don't want to go through i was losing my daughter.
Luckily the teenager didn't sustain life threatening injuries though her collarbone and foot were hurt and she suffered cuts and bruises still the mother said no game is worth a child's life.
So should we also get rid of snow boards and skateboards rollerskates bicycles jack/surely a choking hazard.
While play isn't 100% risk free most of it is pretty darn safe and on balance wonderful but today's 100% safety or must mind set has produced an era when its's getting hard to find children frolicking outside unless they they're accompained by a parent or participating in a program run by background checked adults.
Now amazingly blessedly along come a phone app that is so much fun it prompts young people to burst outside in the summertime the only warning the need is maybe to put on some sunscreen. (TWSJ)
